Welcome!

I am an adjunct instructor in the Web Development program at DesMoines Area Community College. I have been teaching here since 1997 as a full time graphic arts and web development instructor. I retired from full time teaching in 2021 but still teach and substitute teach part time.  Although my background is in graphic design, I moved into the web development world a few years back and helped develop our current Web Development program.  I teach mostly what is termed the “front-end” development focusing on the look, feel, and user experience (UX) of web design. My areas in expertise include HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, and WordPress.
